Colombia Investment Visa

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INVESTMENT VISA

    To qualify for the visa, the applicant has to demonstrate that he/she has invested a certain required amount in a property or business in Colombia.

    • a.For property investment- Investment of more than 350 times the current legal minimum monthly salary in Colombia.
    • b.For business investment- Investment which is no less than 100 times the current legal minimum monthly salary in Colombia.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN INVESTMENT VISA

    • 1.Copy of the first page of the current passport with all relevant identity information.
    • 2.Copy of the page where the stamp of your last entry or exit in Colombia is present.
    • 3.Copy of the Colombian visa issued before without the lecture code (OCR).
    • 4.An official power of attorney in the name of the third person, if the third person is involved in the visa process on your behalf.
    • 5.Document issued by the Colombia Department of International Exchange, which indicates foreign direct investment registered in the name of the applicant to buy the property in an amount that is greater than 350 times the current minimum salary of Colombia.
    • 6.A certification issued by Certificate of Tradition and Liberty as well as by the Office of Public Instruments, which clearly indicates the foreign applicant as property owner and having an issue date of no more than a month prior to the visa application process.
    • 7.A copy of the certificate of legal representation that is issued by a Colombian Chamber of Commerce having an issue date within three months prior to the visa application process. The certificate should display the name of the applicant as partner or owner of a registered company with assets registered and paid by the applicant in an amount no less than 100 times the current legal minimum monthly salary in Colombia.
