Paraguay Business Visa

A valid passport and a visa are required to gain entry into Paraguay for business stays. You may send your applications through our services, but under certain circumstances, an appointment with the Consular General under your jurisdiction may be required. The following are the requirements for a business visa.
Take note that citizens from the Middle East, Africa and Asia regions are required to present a letter from an entity in Paraguay indicating their invitation.

Passport requirements – an original passport with at least 6 months validity from the entry date is required. It should have at least 1 blank page for stamps. 2 copies of the personal details page is also required. All passports should be signed by the owners.

Visa application form –2 filled out and signed visa application forms and a copy.

2 passport sized photos – they should be 2X2 inches, colored with a white background.

Proof of residence – 2 copies of any of these documents; Driver’s License, Utility bill or National ID indicating your current address in your home country.

Business letter –a letter from your employer or the affiliated company in your home country, with the company letterhead, indicating your personal details, employment position and purpose of the visit. It must also contain the information about your financial support during the stay and the contact information about the company.

Proof of exit – a flight itinerary from your travel agency or airline. Copies of your air tickets indicating your entry and exit date from Paraguay may also be used.


A business single entry visa has a validity period of 90 days from your entry date. Multiple entry visas are valid from your entry date to your passport’s expiry date. The visa processing time varies with the consulate at which application was made. However, they generally take about 4 business days. You can as well get Emergency and Rush services at additional charges.
